Myra's Hair Growth Results
with Apple Procyanidins
Today we're going to take a
break from the science, because I want to introduce you to someone
important.
My
neighbor Myra is 75 years old. She's important because she's doing only
one thing I recommend to you, seeing dramatic improvement in her
hair growth as a result.
"I’ve always been very
healthy," says Myra, "but about 15 years ago I started losing my thick,
natural hair. My doctors determined that I had low thyroid and gave me
Synthroid. Despite my hopes, my hair did not grow back. In fact, it
continued to get thinner and thinner, until my scalp was very visible all
across the front of my head, and back almost to the crown. My doctor told
me that the hair would never grow back.
"At the age of 72, I had pretty much accepted the fact
that I was partially bald and would remain that way for the rest of my
life. I felt hopeless, and ashamed of the way I looked."
Myra had basically given
up on her hair. When we met her she had other health concerns. She began
taking apple polyphenols capsules to help improve her energy and muscle
weakness from a bout with West Nile virus. "My energy level returned to
normal," she told me, "and the muscle weakness also vanished in a short
time."
Myra continued to take
the apple capsules religiously for her health and energy. Then, an
extraordinary thing began to happen.
"After about a year on the apple
capsules my hair started growing back. At first, it was hard to
believe. I certainly didn’t expect it. But as the months went by, it was
obvious that my hair really was getting thicker. Now, when I look in the
mirror, I don’t see my scalp. I see my own beautiful hair again. And
lately, the new growth is even starting to come in dark- my natural
brunette color."
You may not be 75
years old. You may not be a woman. But Myra's experience is still
important to you for a number of reasons.
Proof of concept:
We've reviewed the body of science on the hair growth effects of
procyanidins, including their ability to induce anagen, inhibit protein
kinase C, inhibit cell shedding and apoptosis in catagen, and strongly
inhibit TGF-β. Myra's experience proves that these studied effects
translate to real-world results.
Systemic efficacy:
The scientific studies and clinical trials all focus on topical
application of apple procyanidins. Myra's experience proves that apple
procyanidins are bioavailable, and effective in the hair follicle in
dietary form. Her results show that an increase in procyanidins and
polyphenols in the diet can improve the health and production of the
follicle organs.
Consistency:
Myra has taken one gram of apple polyphenols consistently, every day for
two years. Changes in her hair growth were evident after several months,
obvious at a year, and continue to improve with time on this therapy. She
is not doing everything I recommend for improved hair growth. She's
not even doing a high dose of apple procyanidins. But she is taking them
every day, consistently, over a period of months and years. This
consistent approach is critical to her success- and yours. No matter
what therapy you undertake for hair loss and regrowth, you must give it
time to show results.
Repigmentation:
Myra's experience of repigmentation may be the most significant result of
all. First, this effect is not reported anywhere in the available medical
literature. There is no drug or nutrient known that can cause gray hair to
turn back to its natural color. The only explanation for this effect is
that the follicle is returning to a more youthful state of growth and
production- exactly what we want when trying to revive a follicle that
is no longer producing thick, healthy, pigmented hair.
Gender
independence: Myra's results make it clear that procyanidin
therapy can be effective for women. Since the clinical trial subjects have
all been male, and since their action is not direct suppression of DHT, we
may conclude that apple procyanidins can work to improve hair growth in
both sexes.
Myra is thrilled with
her results in energy, pain relief, muscle strength and unexpected hair
regrowth with apple procyanidins. So I'll ask you again:
What are you doing today to positively affect the health and growth of
your hair?
