Can apple peels regrow lost hair?

Picture this:

You’re a 37-year-old man losing hair so rapidly that you decide to go to the doctor.

The doctor suggests Finasteride––a prescription medicine with possible side effects including decreased libido, increased estrogen, testicular pain, erectile dysfunction, depression, and diarrhea (just to name a few.)

On the plus side, though this drug is proven to be very effective at stopping hair loss. Which is the whole reason you’re here.

Sitting under the fluorescent lights, you hesitate.

“Should I really take this?” 

The doctor reassures you that there’s no need to rush the decision. So you choose to sleep on it.

Later that night, doomscrolling on Twitter / X, you freeze.

Here, out of the blue, is a post with over 1 million views from a former U.S. Army Sergeant who says:

"Finasteride has drastically feminized my appearance and destroyed my life."

He says that he's stopped taking the medication, but is still suffering from a lot of unwanted symptoms due to "PFS."

“What the hell is PFS?” you wonder.

A quick search turns up some chilling results.

Apparently, lots of guys experience what’s known as Post Finasteride Syndrome.

PFS involves a range of sexual, neurological, and physical issues that continue even after you stop taking the medicine.

These include more feminized facial features, and perhaps worst of all, gynecomastia (aka the dreaded “man boobs” that nobody wants!)

This same former Army Sergeant also posted a YouTube video, which includes hundreds of comments from other guys who took Finasteride. Some of whom have been dealing with PFS challenges for over ten years!

Now, the science behind PFS is complex (mostly related to hormone disruptions...)

But you quickly decide that the exact details don’t even so much matter.

After all, the main thing isn’t WHY so many guys experience awful side effects from taking Finasteride. It’s simply THAT they do. Period.

Your heart sinks.

The whole reason you want to regrow hair is to be attractive, confident, and have amazing relationships.

What’s the point of getting your hair back if, in the process, you lose your sexual function?

(That’s like filling up the gas tank in your car while being totally unaware that the fuel line is cut!)

Then again, what’s the alternative? You’re losing hair. This is a serious problem that you need to do something about. Good old “diet and exercise” isn’t going to cut it!

So you return to Google, half-defeated, hoping to find some remedy or possible fix that no one has told you about.

“I guess I could imagine some chemical in apple peels helping with hair loss. But curing it?”

Skeptical but intrigued, you dig into this study and are floored by what it says.

This apple peel substance was put to the test in a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial (the gold standard of scientific research) with 19 men who had male pattern baldness.

The researchers found that the men who used this apple peel substance saw a “significantly greater” increase in the number of total hairs.

Not only that––78% of these men came away from the clinical trial with thicker hair, too.

That’s pretty damn impressive…but you still feel some resistance to this whole apple peel thing.

After all, who knows what a “significantly greater” increase in the number of new hairs means?

Is it a true, noticeable increase? Or just a slight bump that technically qualifies as “significant?”

If only there were some photos. So you could judge for yourself whether this was real…or yet another overhyped “natural remedy.”

A few minutes of research later, you find another study into this same apple peel substance showing exactly that.

This time, the researchers actually published before-and-after photos from the clinical trial.

Wow, okay.

Now we’re talking!

“If there’s even a chance this will do for me what it clearly did for them”, you think, “why would I NOT try it?”

Especially since, once again, we’re talking about apple peels here.

It’s hard to imagine any kind of negative side effects from apple peels!

And actually, what you soon find after some more research is something incredible.

Not only are there no side effects (since this works in a completely different way than Finasteride…)

This same apple peel substance has been hailed as a natural anti-aging breakthrough.

Scientists say it helps with weight loss, blood sugar, skin health, and even lowering oxidized cholesterol. The kind that doctors warn can wreck your heart.

Even better? Researchers found that to get the best results, you take this substance two ways:

You take it orally: so your body absorbs it from the inside out.

And you apply it topically: rubbing it directly onto your scalp, right where you need it most.

Now let’s be realistic. This is not some kind of miracle cure that will give you a full head of hair by next week. That doesn’t exist.

But the clinical research is clear that over the course of 30, 60, or ideally 90 days, most men with pattern baldness do see new hair growth, and thickening of the hair they have now.

Furthermore, as someone who’s interacted with hundreds of male clients over the years, I’ve seen patterns in the results that emerge.

First, clients tend to report a decrease in the amount of falling / fallen hair on their pillow, in their comb or brush, or in the shower drain.

(That’s what happened for me, personally. When I started using this apple peel substance at age 47, I soon noticed less hair coming out in the shower when washing my hair. Which was a real relief, because the clumps were beginning to alarm me!)

The second thing clients began reporting was faster growth from the active hair follicles they still had. In fact, I regularly get solid reports of accelerated growth from women who dye their hair. They notice, because they have to get their roots done more often.

Plus, as the saying goes, "no one gets rich when you get well." There's nothing any drug company can patent (or has any self-interested reason to publicize) about apple peels.

2. "When can I expect to see results?"

Answer: It varies. Everyone's physiology is different. With that said, I regularly receive client emails telling me about regrowth in as little as 3 weeks. We aim for all client to see results in 90 days or less.

3. "Do I have to take it for the rest of my life?"

Answer: Yes, yes you do. Just kidding. No, of course not. But if you're seeing actual new growth in you own hair, why would you want to stop? Keep taking it only if you want to keep seeing more and better results.

4. "Is the new hair growth permanent?"

Answer: Hair growth is a dynamic process. Some follicles are shedding (catagen phase), while others are actively growing new hair (anagen phase), or resting (telogen phase). This apple peel substance shortens the shedding phase, calls your resting follicles back into action, and increases and lengthens the growing phase.

End result: More coverage with stronger, thicker hair, increased growth, and follicles performing like when you were younger.

It’s like this stuff doesn’t even exist outside of research labs. And that’s when you realize…if you want it, you’ll have to find another way.
